My name is Kyan. I never planned to become a designer or business owner. In fact, I started out studying physical therapy. It didn’t take long for me to realize that I hated it. It felt like a dead end. So, I quit.
With no clear direction, I took a job in construction. It made me realize what I was missing all this time: a creative outlet. So I started studying Communication & Multimedia Design. This time, everything clicked. It was the perfect mix of strategy, creativity, and problem-solving.
While still in school, I started making logos, brand guides, and presentations for others. At some point, I thought: "I might as well start my own agency." So, I did.
Then Covid happened. Suddenly, branding wasn’t a priority for most businesses. My work dried up, so I pivoted and took a full-time job as a UX designer at a crypto company. It wasn’t what I had planned, but it kept me moving forward.
After that, freelancing called me back. I quit my job, built my own systems, and now, I run a design agency that helps brands stand out by highlighting their personalities, not just what they do.
My journey wasn’t traditional, but that’s exactly why I do what I do. I know what it’s like to start from scratch, to pivot, to upgrade. Now I help others do the same.
